(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi guys, i was wondering if anyone knows of any software and hardware that would say, allow me to put a blue ray disk into an external Blu ray burner and read the disk..? That way if i can read the disk via the blu ray burner then surely you could edit the contents of the disk. i know this is possible as people are selling TB fake copies of game over at lightake.... any help and advice is much appreciated.

Thanks

well you would need a dev kit that has all the ps3 drivers on it also a kit that has current encryption keys that games are being made on , basically you will never modify the disk

well when you put a disk in a CFW ps3 and open up multiman you can see the files on the disk... not as simple as getting the files off the disk, modding them and putting them back on...? im not looking to do for pirating games btw, for cheating on games. SOCOM CONFRONTATION. its an online only game & basicly you have to install it before playing, it instals around 2gb worth of data onto the harddrive. i want to be able to edit that 2gb worth of data on the disk

My post cont isnt high enough to send PM's . LOL. yh im trying to edit the contents of the disk, SOCOM CONFRONTATION is an online multiplayer game only and all of the games files on which the game runs has to be installed to the HDD via the disk when you insert it to the ps3. Once the disk is in the ps3 it has 2 disks pop up, one to install the game data and the other to load the game once it has been installed. I have accessed the files on a CFW ps3 with FTP transfers and stuff but i was just wondering if to make it easier for myself i could just edit the files on the disk, this would save FTP transfers and data transfering to a 4.00 OFW console.

learn to quote btw , also why it cant be done is each of the game files themselves need repacked using what ever kit the game company used to make it like many pc games use .pak for packages and compressing game files (texture, object files etc) you cant run this on a bluray disk since you cant repack the files even if you did edit them reason 1 is a security layer on the bluray disk will not read as a original disk or master disk so your ps3 bluray player will reject the disk and say its corrupted end of story it cant be done easily

You must login or register to view this content. this might help you, this is what sony devs use to burn discs I think. Hope this helps Smile

EDIT : Generator Tools v3.12 and used to offer PS3 titles to the public. It is intended for the creation and verification of records and masters Masters packages. In other words, developers of video game studios use it to edit projects, burn an ISO image on a Blu-Ray, extract and decrypt the same time the content of a Blu-Ray or an ISO image, create a file system (SFO), etc.. Looks like I was right

The following user groaned Mr Grumpy for this awful post:
